EVENTS
The Colonial Crest Association organizes about a dozen events each year. All Crest residents are welcome and a few events are open to the public like the Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Food Trucks, and the Cookie Walk! We are all neighbors who volunteer to make these happen because we care about our community. Contact us if you would like to help or have a suggestion. Below is a list of our upcoming events - some have RSVPs that are helpful to us and some are simply show up. Mark your calendars and we hope to see you there!

Sat, May 16use: 1744 Brookdale Rd. for center areaRAIN or SHINE! Come and shop our annual spring neighborhood yard sale in Colonial Crest. We will update this page closer to the event with the number of homes participating. A breakfast food truck (TBD) will be at the Pond at 8am!
Thu, Jun 185:00-6:30pm at the PondPublic event! We are excited to have the delicious, Gio's Smoking' Grill food truck at the pond! Gio's serves a variety of Hand-Tossed Pizza, Smoked Brisket, Smoked Pork BBQ, Homemade Italian Sausage, and Smoked Mac & Cheese Bowls. Take a break from making dinner and get some amazing local food!
Sat, Jun 204-6pm at the PondCrest-resident families, come join your neighbors for our annual picnic! It's a time to relax, chat, or play a yard game. The association will provide burgers, sausage, hotdogs and beverages. Bring a side dish or dessert & lawn chairs.
Thu, Jul 16The PondPublic Event! The Potato Coop smash burgers and loaded potatoes are legendary! They also have pulled pork, chicken, cheesesteak and variety of other items You won't want to miss this food truck. Take a break from cooking dinner and head to the pond for local take out. Amazing!
Wed, Aug 19The PondPublic Event! The Lucky Penny is one of the most popular food trucks around. Their 100% Angus beef burgers and lavender lemonades are famously fabulous. You won't want to miss this food truck. Not this is a Wednesday (not usual Thursday). We are LUCKY to have to have the Lucky Penny in the Crest.
Sun, Sep 27The Pond, 4-6pmCrest families, join us for our family fall tailgate! There will be a screen w/the game, cookie decorating, pumpkin painting, food & more. We will supply wine, beer, kid's beverages, and lots of snacks—a great time! Please RSVP so we know how much to bring. RAIN DATE: Oct 4th
Sat, Oct 178am-Noon, come for all or part of the time!Neighbors, join us for our annual Fall cleanup day to make our pond and shared areas ready for winter! Many hands make light work, we have jobs for all ages. Scouting & National Honor Society credit!
Tue, Dec 15Faith Immanuel ChurchHelp families in need this season, and pick up cookies for a cause! 100% of proceeds go to our local Cupboard at Calvary food pantry, a Central PA Food Bank member. Simply pay $10 for a provided container (CASH only), walk through & fill it up with the cookies. Open to the public!
Sat, Dec 194:30-5:30pm at the PondJoin your Crest neighbors for the lighting of our pond luminaries, s'mores, hot chocolate, and a holiday sing-a-long. No RSVP needed, just show up and bring the whole family. Special thank you Chip Bayer for championing this special event each year.
