About the event
If you are over 6 years old and able to help, please join us this Saturday at the pond for our Crest fall clean up, 8am–Noon. Even if you can only come for part of the time, it would be helpful as many hands make light work! The clean up is eligible for scouting and honor society credits.
This year we are focusing on cutting and removing the cattails and other growth around the pond. Please come with work gloves and eye protection if possible.
If you have any of these tools, we could extra:
Leaf or garden rakes
Pitchforks
Weed whackers with string or blades (blades helpful for cattails)
Tarps to drag out cut weeds and brush
Empty trash cans to move cut weeds from bank
Boots to walk in pond to cut dead cattails
Lopping shears
Chip Bayer is our fall and spring clean up champion each year. Questions? Contact us HERE.
We hope to see you there!
